It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

The Financial Advisor Associate provides the daily customer support, and enables the efficient and effective practice management of our Financial Advisor teams. A Financial Advisor Associate will work closely with their Advisor team to support the delivery of advice, guidance and investment solutions to individuals to create and maintain financial wellbeing. The Financial Advisor Associate will support Advisory teams and customers with basic to comprehensive investment, insurance and financial planning needs.

About This Role:

Job Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Manage the daily servicing needs for an assigned customer portfolio in order to support the Advisory team in identifying customer needs and delivering solutions. Maintain the new customer onboarding service model and standards.

Anticipate customer needs, recognize opportunities and recommend appropriate Wealth Management support and services to the primary Advisor.

Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation for transactions ensuring completeness and accuracy. Follow through on the submission of documents to ensure timely and accurate completion of submissions.

Monitor all account activity by reviewing and validating daily transactions. Support the documentation of all client contacts, written and verbal to confirm client discussions and actions.

Monitor portfolio of accounts, notify Advisor of outstanding balances and anticipated cash needs.

Coordinate with Advisors to schedule and facilitate client reviews, with awareness of the administrative risk associated with account administration.

Assist Advisors with the financial planning process, including data collection and entry.

Monitor and resolve outstanding client account and service items in collaboration with Advisors.

Meet regularly with Advisors to review portfolio of accounts and coordinate administrative actions necessary to provide an exceptional delivery of customer service.

Apply functional and technical knowledge to solve a customer's basic to complex problem using sound analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.

Engage internal or external resources when necessary to serve a customer's more complex needs.

Properly execute transactions in a timely manner.

Assist Advisors with the planning, coordination and execution of marketing plan and client touchpoints.

Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive and collaborative working relationships.

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, and FINRA / SEC regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to all job duties.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in the investment or financial services industry.
  • Working knowledge of all standard concepts and procedures with area of expertise.
  • Excellent orientation to detail.
  • Able to review documents or information with accuracy for errors or omissions.
  • Ability to deliver clear, articulate and concise messages, both verbally and orally.
  • Ability to create written documentation in various formats and styles to meet the needs of the audience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing and able to develop presentation, documents or standard reports that are clear and understood.
  • Ability to identify problems, research underlying contributing factors and evaluate appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to identify areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed. Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively within a team environment.
  • Ability to listen attentively to customer's needs to best deliver a comprehensive solution for the customer.
  • Understands and contributes to intended customer experience of helpful, easy and personal.

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63 & 65) registrations.
  • State Life, Accident & Health and Variable Contract insurance licenses.
  • Certifications or degrees such as a AWMA, CRPC, FPQP, or ability to earn accreditation
