Production Supervisor

Job Description
Position Title: Production Supervisor
Wage: $24.00 - $28.00/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 1:00pm - 9:00pm

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise personnel and operations on the shift
- Implement changes in orders to increase production flow and quality
- Maintain thorough knowledge of processes and equipment
- Report any process and equipment problems
- Train, upgrade, evaluate and review employees
- Organize work for smooth operations
- Ensure that established policies, rules and regulations and procedures are followed
- Verify correct identification, inventory and warehousing of products
- Supervise department job orders and verify that paperwork is correctly signed
- Manage production and tooling issues and troubleshoot problems
- Implement change in order to increase production flow and quality
- Coordinate, monitor and supervise the activities of the team, ensuring individual member goals are achieved in support of assigned team goals
Requirements for Production Supervisor:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of machine, standard test equipment and plant processes
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a focus on Microsoft Excel
- Strong organization and follow-up techniques
