Job Summary:

The Commercial Lending Associate II position in Omaha will independently coordinate the documentation, booking, and funding of commercial credits in addition to providing ongoing portfolio support to customers and Commercial Relationship Managers. This position will also serve as an escalation point for more complex documentation requests, booking and service-related issues as well as assisting with basic training and continuing education opportunities for the CLA team.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

* Coordinates simple to moderately complex Laser Pro, attorney prepared, and syndicated loan documents, bookings, and funding requests accurately and according to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

* Independently, and with minimal recurring questions, reviews credit approval to determine required due diligence based on product type, collateral, and borrowing entity while adhering to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

* Prior to closing, provides an in-depth review of the loan document package. Such a review should ensure that the terms contained in the approval and loan documents are the same. Discrepancies should be researched, addressed and resolved.

* Reviews signed loan document package to ensure all documents are present and accurately executed. Properly funds and books the loan according to bank procedure.

* Post closing, completes a review of signed loan document package to ensure all documents are present and accurately executed. Properly funds and books the loan according to bank procedure.

* Independently coordinates with the borrower and third-party resources to obtain and review necessary due diligence documentation to maintain compliance with regulatory standards, bank credit policy, and procedures.

* Independently performs more advanced loan portfolio maintenance with minimal to no error. Proactively identifies and resolves the following loan maintenance tasks:

* Facilitates the collection and review of post-closing documentation

* Addresses and clears all credit related exceptions

* Completes necessary lien filings to ensure collateral is properly secured

* Performs various maintenance related tasks as assigned

* Provides exceptional customer service when interacting with clients to resolve basic and complex service requests and inquiries

* Attends scheduled lending team sales/pipeline meetings. Proactively participates and holds accountable team members to agreed upon processes and procedures.

* Represents CLA group in intra-departmental meetings as needed. Develops effective working relationships with peers in all commercial lending departments to enhance level of service and customer experience.

* Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

* At least four years of Business or Commercial lending experience required

* Deposit or treasury related experience preferred, but not required

* Bachelors degree preferred, but not required

* Two-year post-secondary degree/specialized study preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $23.00 - $27.00 (Annualized at 40 hours per week: $47,840 - $56,160)
