PDS Tech is looking for a Material Planner to join our team in York, NE.

Job Title:Material Planner
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (8 months)
Location:York, NE
Schedule: M-F; 1st shift
Pay Rate: $40.14 per hour

Job Description

• Production planning-schedule order releases based on customer requirement dates, DTM, manufacturing capacity, and material availability to meet OTD goals.

• Material release-Issue materials and order documentation to the shop floor for processing.

• Customer interface-communicate with customers to align on deliveries and filter requests.

• Automation of reporting

• Material commit updates

• Planned orders to firm orders (identify link between order types and numbers)

• Develop/improve material mismatch tool to identify disconnects in material availability prior to releasing orders

Day to Day

• Work with operations managers and operators to release production orders

• Track high-priority orders through the process and work with managers to ensure OTD is met

• Utilize VBA/Excel macro knowledge to improve/automate planning tools including York's Commit file and mismatch tool.

Pay Details: $40.14 per hour
