Position: Storekeeper (Forklift Operator)

Department: Warehouse Full-Time/Part-Time: Full

Location: Okmulgee, OK FLSA: Non-Exempt Hrly.

Summary:

PACCAR WINCH INC manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets. PACCAR is a Fortune 500 company established in 1905. Our business is growing and we are seeking an experiencedStore Keeper. This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is Monday-Friday 2:30 AM - 11:00 AM, which can vary upon production demand.Occasional overtime is also available. The salary range is$17.66 to 22.65 hourly. Shift differential is $2.40 per hour. Our facility is located at 1204 West 20th Street Okmulgee, OK 74447. Benefits include: 401K with 5% matching, medical insurance, dental, vision and company paid life insurance. Company provided disability coverage as well as 12 paid holidays and paid vacation. PACCAR Winch does require applicants to complete a background check, drug test, and pre-employment physical as a condition of employment. Objective:

  • Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including fulfilling part orders, keeping warehouse stocked, and inventorying. Maintain clean work area.

Schedule:

  • Monday thru Friday
  • 2:30AM to 11:00AM
  • Occasional Overtime

Wage:

  • $17.66 to 22.65
  • $2.40 Night Differential
  • Starting pay based upon experience.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or flatbeds.

  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.

  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.

  • Checking loads are secure.

  • Stacking empty pallets.

  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and safety check sheets.

  • Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.

  • Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.

    Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be required.

  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.

  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards.

  • Must be able to operate Data Collection devices accurately & efficiently within 30 days of beginning in classification.

  • Must be able to read and follow written work instruction.

  • Must be willing to train in and perform multiple tasks as work load requires.

  • Must have the ability, knowledge and confidence to consistently meet or exceed the expected productivity standards for all work performed.

Technical Skills:
  • Must be capable of being certified to operate a Forklift efficiently and safely.

  • Basic computer skills required for the completion of time cards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system. Must actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices in the work area as well as the entire facility.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

PACCAR Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches. Employee is working around heavy machinery. Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment. Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time. Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head.

  • Must be able to lift up to 68 pounds occasionally

  • Able to push a maximum of 75 pounds

  • Ability to pull a maximum force of up to 75 pounds

  • Able to step up and down on a 14 inch step with both feet multiple times

  • Able to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hand above head.

  • Ability to crawl for 25 feet
