We need someone to thrive when administering Signature Performance cloud environments, servers, software applications, and an individual who analyzes user requirements, procedures, and methodologies to automate processing or to improve existing systems. In the role of Cloud Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring effective operation of Signature's cloud environments to meet business needs, including the design architecture, and integration. ABOUT THE JOB

  • Ensure effective operation of Signature's cloud environments to meet business needs, including the design architecture, integration, and continued support.
  • Provide all aspects of IT network and systems support and administration including, but not limited to:
    • Advanced troubleshooting of desktops, server, and network infrastructure.
    • Azure Administration
    • SAN administration
    • VMware administration
    • LAN/WAN/VPN administration
    • Software/hardware installation and troubleshooting
    • User account administration
  • Maintain security posture of network and systems.
  • Research and evaluation of technology solutions for business needs
  • Educate staff regarding use of software, systems, and applications.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network and systems configurations.
  • Maintain and test disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Rotate as after-hours contact and perform after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Position Requirements:

  • 4+ years IT work experience in systems and network administration
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Office 365 and Azure
  • Experience with Azure Government Environment preferred
  • Experience with other cloud solutions, such as, AWS or Google Cloud a plus
  • Effective team member working toward company goals.
  • Active Directory administration and implementation
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Network troubleshooting and engineering including VPN, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, L2 and L3 Routing, VLAN Tagging, and SD-WAN
  • Experience in the supporting, configuration, design and administration of next generation firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and other networking equipment and technologies.
  • Business intelligence systems administration
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to successfully perform job functions with minimal supervision

  • Knowledge of scripting principals with PowerShell
  • Knowledge of business process automation principals
