Essential Job Functions:

  • Update process job sheets.
  • Conduct sand and metal sampling during the production process.
  • Conduct materials testing and metallurgical analysis.
  • Compile foundry data.
  • Manage test samples & storage.
  • Function in both the lab and production environments as necessary to complete the essential job functions.
  • Maintain necessary test records.
  • Retrieve information from records and produce reports as requested.
  • Maintain a clean an organized work area to help ensure the usability and accuracy of testing equipment and processes.
  • Comply with department and company safety rules.
  • Ensure that sampling and testing processes follow standard operating procedures to maintain the accuracy and repeatability of test results.
  • Communicate information to the organization regarding testing and auditing for quality assurance purposes.
  • Other activities as assigned at the discretion of management.

  • Communication - ability to read, write and speak in English; bilingual (Spanish) is desired.
