SUMMARY
The Warehouse Technician verifies incoming shipments for accuracy and damages. Logs receiving information into the computer. Restocks shelves with incoming freight. Picks orders for shipment. Delivers orders to East and West Sites. Maintains a clean work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
*Inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and damages and enters receipts into computer.
*Sorts incoming supplies and stocks in proper locations.
*Rotates stock - First In First Out (FIFO).
*Fills and documents orders for shipment from warehouse to East or West Site.
*Transports supplies/orders between Medical Center facilities; operates vehicle according to departmental policies and motor vehicle laws.
*Operates equipment according to manufacturers' specifications and departmental policy.
*Uses proper body mechanics in lifting, pushing or pulling for personal safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency required. Valid State of Nebraska driver's license required. Verification and maintenance of responsible driving record per facility standards required. Pallet Jack certification required.
